Shipping Ammunition to Alaska

We do not handle ammunition orders.

This information is provided due to the number of requests we have had from customers regarding ammunition. Ammunition is a hazardous item must be kept on the ground. That is the reason that USPS, FedEx, and UPS do not accept ammunition for shipment.

The only way we have found to get ammunition to Alaska is through a freight forwarder. If you have or order the ammunition, it can be sent via UPS ground (or other equivalent method) to the freight forwarder’s Washington office. They will then put it on a truck and bring it up to Fairbanks where you will be called to pick it up.

Expect a charge of $125-$175 (depending on fuel surcharge, you can contact them for current rates) for anything up to 250lbs. That is their minimum rate.
